A landscape artist in oil and watercolour, also an etcher, Anthony Slade studied at the Brighton School of Art. He had a very successful career, showing during the early 1930's at the top galleries in London - the Redfern, the Leicester, the Goupil Galleries, also at Conaghi's. Internationally he exhibited at the National Gallery of Canada. (Ref: Who is Who in Art - 1934)
