Florence Engelbach trained initially at the prestigious Slade School in London and then in Paris, a talented oil painter,she is principally known for her flower studies. Extremely widely exhibited, her work was shown by Lefevre and the Goupil Galleries as well as the Royal Academy, R.O.I. and N.S. The Leicester Galleries had a memorial show for her in 1951 and the Tate Gallery holds her work today. |
