John Bolam studied at the Hornsey School of Art and went on to become Head of the School of Art in Cambridge (1970-83). He has exhibited widely throughout his career, drawing on the Chilterns landscape for Sutherland-style inspiration of land and form towards his pure abstracts. He exhibited regularly at the New Art Centre - the Fry Gallery, Saffron Walden hold his work. |
