Coming from an artistic family, Margaret Fisher Prout studied with her father, Mark Fisher, then at the Slade. She then won a coveted post as drawing teacher at the Hammersmith College whilst furthering her career with exhibits at the New English Art Club from 1906. She began showing at the R.A. from 1921, becoming an Associate in 1948. She is represented in the Tate Gallery. |
