Vincent Lines was a noted landscape and architectural painter; he studied at Dulwich and Central School of Arts, then at the R.C.A. where he won the Travelling Scholarship for 1932; his observational compositions ensured that he was a chosen artist for the Recording Britain project. A regular exhibitor at the major London galleries; his work is in the British Council collection. |
