Anne Spalding moved between art colleges in Oxford and London but trained principally at the Ruskin School of Art between 1929-33. She worked primarily as an oil painter and lithographer; her mentor at the Ruskin being Barnett Freedman. She has exhibited in London from 1949 onwards with a retrospective show at Sally Hunter Fine Art, Belgrave Square in 1988. |
